Baked Brie with Fig and Crispy Prosciutto

Sweet, salty, creamy and crunchy — this baked Brie is an instant crowd-pleaser and the perfect addition to any festive table. You can prep the toppings ahead of time and have it oven-ready for effortless entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 100g thinly sliced prosciutto

  • 200g wheel of Brie

  • 3 tbsp fig jam (or cranberry sauce)

  • 30g shelled pistachios, roughly chopped

  • Honey, for drizzling

  • Crackers or crusty bread, to serve

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Cook the prosciutto:
Spread slices evenly on a tray and bake or airfry until crispy (8–10 mins at 180°C). Once cooled, crumble into small pieces.

Prepare the Brie:
Score the top of the Brie in a crosshatch pattern and place it in an oven-safe dish.

Add toppings:
Drizzle the Brie with honey, then spread over fig jam and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.

Bake:
Place in the oven for 15–20 minutes or until the centre is soft and melted. Larger or very cold Brie may need more time.

06.

Finish and serve:
Remove from oven, scatter with crispy prosciutto, and serve warm with crackers or crusty bread.
